The plan includes, Transportation in camper with full availability throughout the program. Wayuu indigenous guide service. Accommodation, two nights in Nazareth, one night in Punta Gallinas, in chinchorro (typical hammock woven in thread). One night at Cabo de la Vela in chinchorro. Typical complete food (Fish, Seafood, Goat and Chicken Criollo), from lunch on the first day to lunch on the third day.
REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
This adventure type crossing is a demanding route, without the conveniences of conventional tourism. Water is scarce and little electricity is obtained from gasoline generators and solar panels. The road is uncovered and dusty. Permanent sun and constant heat during the day and cold at night. There are no conventional hotels, the accommodation is carried out in the tourist inns. For this tour the visitor must be in healthy physical conditions.
Because of the conditions of the trip it is not recommended for adults older than 80 years or with chronic health problems. However, there are health services (hospitals) in Uribia, Manaure and in the health posts of Cabo de la Vela.
To have a more comfortable trip it is recommended: Take a canteen, knife, toiletries (brush and towel, soap and toothpaste, these last two preferably biodegradable), sandals or beach shoes, 2 or 3 changes of clothes for warm weather: shirts or shirts, preferably denim pants (strong and allow flexibility), bathing suit and shorts, flashlight with spare batteries, sunscreen and sunscreen, sunglasses with UV filter, hat or cap for the sun , identity documents, personal kit, thermal mat, sack or blanket for sleeping and camera and refreshments and hydration to use during the tour.
